What happens if I attempt to pay a bill in Quicken, QuickBooks or Microsoft Money with insufficient funds in my account?
A. If you schedule a payment for the current day and you send the request before 2:00 p.m. ET, you will immediately receive a warning message about insufficient funds. If you schedule your payment for a future date, or if an immediate payment is received after 2:00 p.m. ET, the payment will be processed the next morning. If there are insufficient funds when the payment is processed, Fifth Third will attempt to process the payment each of the following two business days. If there are still insufficient funds, you will receive a message in Quicken, QuickBooks or Microsoft Money the next time you connect to Fifth Third. Q. I would like to use the old QIF download function and prefer not to synchronize my account automatically. A. You may download QIF files with any Quicken version up to 2003. Quicken 2004 does not support QIF downloads, so if you prefer to use QIF files, do not upgrade your software to Quicken 2004. Microsoft Money 97 and later supports QIF downloads.
