Noncontributory Plan member If you were a Noncontributory Plan member and return to work after July 1, 2006 , you will be enrolled in the Hybrid Plan. If you had less than ten years credited service and did not return within one calendar year, your Noncontributory Plan service would be forfeited and restored on a monthly basis. You do not forfeit your Noncontributory Plan service if you had more than ten years credited service. Contributory Plan member If you were a Contributory Plan member with less than five years credited service, and return to work after July 1, 2006 , you will be enrolled in the Hybrid Plan. Your retirement contributions would be refunded. If you return within 4 calendar years, your refunded service is credited as Noncontributory Plan service. If you return after 4 calendar years, your refunded service is forfeited and restored as Noncontributory Plan service on a monthly basis.
