What happens in the event of a weather cancellation/rain-out?
Teams are required to remain “on-call” and “on-site” until 2pm. It is up until this time that a decision can be made as to whether the event can be played out. If the event gets cancelled before playoffs, all teams will receive a refund less $10 administrative fee. (The OVA crew will do all possible to prevent this from happening). If the event gets cancelled mid-way through playoffs, all teams who have been eliminated will not receive a refund. All remaining teams will be reimbursed their entry fee less $10 administrative fee and will split the remaining points. A decision will be made by the Beach Committee pertaining to Provincials Eligibility in the case of a cancelled event and minimum requirements. Suspended Play Policy Safety concerns and play suspension are at the discretion of the collective Beach Tournament Committee but ultimately are the judgment of the Tournament Director. Play shall be suspended if the Tournament Director and Committee foresee: • Inclement weather – light
