The license will be valid after the CCW endorsement expires. If you wish to maintain a current CCW endorsement on your license, you will need to renew your Certificate of Qualification through your local sheriff or sheriff’s designee and apply for an updated driver or nondriver license every three years to keep a current CCW endorsement on your license. If your driver or nondriver license does not expire within the next 184 days, you will pay applicable fees for and receive a duplicate driver or nondriver license.
