What happens when a tsunami strikes land?
As a tsunami wave reaches land it forms a giant wave that crashes down and destroys much of the coastline. The waves of a tsunami are very powerful and can eliminate anything that is close enough to the shore. It also makes many innocent people perish for an given reason. The aftermath of a tsunami is a terrible sight. The area that was a once-built town is torn to peices. After the viloent waves hit land and the flow of water is over, there is much debris left in a large body of water that the tsunami created.
