In 2007/08, the A.16 FSCS levy will affect around 1,000 firms that are also in the A.12 or A.13 fee-blocks. 90% of those firms are allocated to the A.13 fee-block, and the expected combined FSCS levies in A.13 and A.16 are expected to result in a slight overall decrease compared with 2006/07 levels. However, the remaining 10% of firms will see FSCS levy increases because the levies in both A.12 and A.16 fee-blocks are rising in 2007/08.
