What initial anxieties do clinicians have?

0

Anxiety about moving to more transparency and openness about activity levels, and different ways of working. Lots of team discussion and away days helps. Services that had been through a lot of change over the past year or so felt that they should wait and assess the impact of that before considering other changes. This is understandable but they can still usefully self rate their current changes against the Helpful Habits and CAPA using the 7 HAT and CAPA Q. Anxiety about whether specialist work will be lost is common- until people realise that CAPA protects specialist work in the job plan. Worries about being given cases in Partnership that they havent had a chance to choose- this is eased when the system gets going and lots of team discussion is in place. Choice clinicians need to know if certain people are getting too many of one type of case. See also our staff feedback.
