B2B integrations enable trading partners to communicate with other trading partners outside an enterprise and over a network. B2B integrations use B2B protocol standards. B2B protocol standards provide guidelines for trading partners to follow when conducting business between enterprises. One B2B protocol standard is RosettaNet. Figure 24-1 shows RosettaNet’s role in a B2B integration.
