I have to agree with Anna P there. If I have to speak from personal experience then, it’s all depends on what kind of lifestyle you want to live. I landed myself in accountancy because, I was aspiring to be a commercial pilot, and didn’t managed to get good grades in Pure maths and however I was v good at applied maths. So, I choose the Accounting. Having said that I will say 4 of my best friends gone into diff direction and what a co-incidence two gone into Engineering (Chemical/Electronics), one on its way to be a cardio thoracic consultant (he’s an Specialist registrar at the mo) and the other did physics degree and now looking after dad’s business. Both of two engineers had brief stint after degree into places sort of away from home in industrial areas, neither of them liked it and both returned to do MBA in finance (!!!) and now working in finance capacity (for them lifestyle and future prospect was big issue in their original chosen subject), the medical guy is not looking back h
