What is a bowling league?
A BOWLING LEAGUE is a great way to meet new people, enjoy time with your friends, co-workers, family, neighbors, your congregation, your school mates…you name it, a BOWLING LEAGUE has it. Bowling is an activity that lets you get a competitve feeling, a feeling of team work, a feeling of being socially active, a lot of fun, and Bowling is even known to be a form of exercise. Most of the BOWLING LEAGUES at Thunderbird Lanes happen on a certain day and time each week, and are anywhere from 12 to 36 weeks in length all year round. A BOWLING LEAGUE may consist of 2, 3, 4 or even 5 players on a team – and BOWLING LEAGUES may be from 2 teams to 32 teams in size. Usually it takes a BOWLING LEAGUE that has 4 players per team about 2 1/2 hours to complete their league play. So a BOWLING LEAGUE won’t tie up your other day or night activities. Best of all, joining a BOWLING LEAGUE breaks up your weekly routine and costs less than filling up your car with gas. You’ll see the term “Mixed League.”
