A short code number is telephone number, traditionally 4-6 digits in length (5 or 6 digits in the US), which is specific to a network operator (or a number of networks if they have formalized an agreement between them). A short code number is allocated to you for your mobile campaign – there is scope for you to choose from a range of available numbers. Note that you can combine up to 8 price points on the same short code. Some carriers do impose restrictions on which services can be combined on the same code.
