What is a core?
Cores are charged on all remanufactured items. This charge is applied at the time of purchase and this charge is refunded back to you at the time the product is returned to the manufacturer for the core credit. If you have a core to be returned, please call our customer service department and we will provide you with a core return number.
The urologist samples the prostate by removing thin threads of tissue with a hollow needle, each one referred to as a “core”, from different areas of the prostate. The number of cores which contain cancer, as well as the amount of cancer present on each core, has a relationship to the tumor’s prognosis.
