What is a Designated Operational Entity?
A Designated Operational Entity (DOE) is a third-party agency that validates a project’s results as real and measurable and ensures that long-term emission reductions have taken place. Currently there are 19 organizations worldwide accredited by the United Nations as DOEs. For a complete list, please click here.
