A forced matrix is a very popular type of compensation plan especially on the Internet where things happen faster than in the “offline world” of mailing and faxing membership applications. The main concept of a forced matrix is the spill over. Each person’s level one can only be as many as the matrix is wide. So a 5×6 matrix means your first level can only have 5 people in it. So when you refer in someone, their first level can only have 5 people in it as well. Your second level will have 25 people in it. Since your first level can only have 5 people in it, when you refer in more people they get placed down under someone else. You still earn off of them, so don’t worry! You benefit off of spillover when a member above you refers in people, and they spill over into your downline. So you are making money off of what the people above you are doing!
