What you can to is dip it in hot water but in batches. Get a colander or strainer that can fit inside a large pot of hot water and dip it for a minute or two, just make sure the sauce is hot and this will be ok. If you wish you can cook it for a little less time, like if the box says 9 to 11 min cook it about 8 and let it sit in hot water for 2. Al dente is good but everyone doesn’t like it. Pizzerias in New York do this. That way you can have hot spaghetti without overcooking it. I do not recommend using oil on it keep it from sticking because when it is sticky the sauce adheres better. The oil takes away from the taste too.

Cook your spaghetti al dente in a very large pot of water and with colander only take the necessary pasta out is you need it . Or take the pasta out the pot but keep he water on the stove on a slow simmer and add the pasta into the water to warm up as you need it put your sauce on it and serve.

Sometimes I take spaghetti for lunch. Right after I boiled the noodles and drain, I put them in an airtight tupperware container. The spaghetti stays moist but doesn’t get soggy. I bet you can do that on a much larger scale. Maybe microwave the noodles right before service?
