What is a High Efficiency Oil Condensing boiler?
A high efficiency oil condensing boiler works on the principle of recovering as much as possible of the waste heat which is normally wasted from the flue of a conventional (non-condensing) boiler. The best high efficiency oil condensing boilers convert more than 95% of their fuel into heat, compared to 78% for conventional types. Oil condensing boilers get their name because they condense periodically. In other words, they extract heat from the exhaust gases that would otherwise escape through the flue – turning water vapour from the oil back into liquid water or condensate.
