What is a “list price” and where does the figure come from?
• You may find that many of our auctions have a “List Price” mentioned. This price is provided by the artist/publisher/supplier of the piece as the desired value the piece has been placed at. This “list price” is not a suggested retail price, nor a representation of current market value. • Quality Art Auctions is not an appraisal firm and if we are contacted regarding verification of a piece’s value, we will only be able to provide you with a copy of your purchase receipt, which reflects your purchase price.
