What is a passing score?
For the purpose of determing a minimum passing score for our guarantee, SpeedyPrep utilizes the American Council on Education (ACE) passing score chart, which can be accessed by clicking here. As a general rule of thumb, a CLEP exam score of 50 or higher constitutes a passing score. However, these scores are merely the ACE recommended passing scores and each learning institution accepting CLEP credits determines the minimum score required to grant credits. While most institutions follow the ACE guidelines, it is important to check with your specific college/university to ensure compliance with your learning instituiton’s CLEP policy.
