What is a personal node?
Personal node is typically a single user working on a single desktop using the access grid toolkit. Typically audio is provided through a headset with microphone to avoid echo. The video is provided by an off-the-shelf Webcam. While this is sufficient to adequately interact in an access grid meeting there can be problems when dealing with meetings that have several participating sites and speakers simply because of screen real estate.
