What is a Resource Constraint?
Resource constraints are defined for each resource type and each release. To formulate resource constraints, estimates of resource consumption are necessary for each feature with respect to this resource type. In each constraint, the available capacity for each release is specified. The resource constraint makes sure that this capacity is not exceeded. What-if analysis can be used to investigate the impact of changed resource capacities on the resulting release plans.
