What is a Revel Prepaid MasterCard®?
Revel is a prepaid card that comes with the MasterCard® brand and can be accepted at ATMs within the Cirrus®/Maestro®/MasterCard® network or at merchant locations in the United States displaying the MasterCard® brandmark (*see exceptions) The card can be used with a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for PIN-debit transactions, or as a signature-based card that can be used without a PIN. Although it shares many of the benefits, Revel is not a credit card. The amount available for PIN-debit and signature-based purchases is only equal to the amount loaded to the card minus any transaction fees. *Exceptions: Revel Prepaid MasterCard® cannot be used to authorize pay at the pump transactions or any AOL services such as, internet and long distance.
