What is a self-administered application?

0

The graduate application process at Trent University is self-administered. You are required to assemble all the relevant documentation and application fee and submit it together with the completed application forms (all in paper copy) to our office. Complete applications are processed upon receipt. Incomplete applications cannot be processed until they are complete, and may not be considered. You are responsible for making the necessary arrangements to have all the relevant documentation forwarded to you in preparation for submitting your complete application. We recommend that you start getting your application ready well before the deadline!

Because the OISE graduate studies application is self-administered – you are required to compile all necessary documentation and submit on-line (whenever possible) via the on-line application system – we recommend that you start preparing your application as early as possible. Official transcripts cannot be submitted on-line, but must be provided in hardcopy to the OISE Registrar’s Office, Graduate Studies Admissions Unit. It is no less than critical to communicate with your prospective referees well in advance of submitting your application for admission. Prior to submission of your application, confirm current contact information (e.g. valid e-mail address), and absolutely ensure each referee is willing and able to provide a letter of reference in a timely manner. Complete applications will be processed upon receipt. Incomplete applications will result in a delay in processing and may not be considered.
