What is a “Special Cable with Keyhole Plate”?

0

Standard cables have a fitting on one end with a hole in it so the shackle of a padlock can pass through it – attaching it to a bracket or preventing it from passing back through the bracket. This fitting on a standard cable is too big to fit though some brackets like the Micro Clip or through the attachment rings found on many (Dell and other) computers. The Special Cable with Keyhole plate has a very narrow end that fits through a Micro Clip or attachment ring. It is often used for lockdowns of more than one computer as in computer labs or classrooms.
