What is a TFP shoot?
TFP can mean “Time for Prints” or “Test for Portfolio.” Usually, a TFP shoot is done for free. A photographer finds a model she/he wants to photograph and neither the photographer nor the model gets paid for the shoot. This type of work is usually done by models and photographers getting started in the process of building their portfolio. Sometimes a make-up artist or hairstylist also participates so they can add to their book.
