What is a TFP?
TFP stands for “Time for Prints.” A person will model for a photographer and instead of a cash payment, the model is compensated with prints. It is a concept that benefits both the photographer and the model involved. While the photographer updates the model’s portfolio, the model is updating the photographer’s as well. TFP is a great way for photographers and models to practice new looks, make connections and keep their portfolios up to date. ^Top • Who qualifies for a TFP shoot? TFP opportunities are limited and provided on a case-by-case basis. In order to be considered for TFP, you must provide a photo — ideally a head shot and full profile shot. ^Top • What should I wear? Solid colors or finely detailed clothing are best. Stay away from clothing with logos, polka dots, wild prints, or distracting stripes. Bring hats and accessories. Women should have hair and makeup that looks professionally done — avoid sparkles as they show up as white dots in photos. Recommended clothing styl
