What is an Access Point Name (APN) and why do I need one?
An Access Point Name (APN) is the exit point leading from the GPRS network into either the public Internet or your private office network; it is the point at which you are routed out of the GPRS network. The APN for the Internet is internet.vodafone.net. The APN for a company network is specified by each company. Its setup costs LE 3,900 and its monthly fee is just LE 490. You can also set up a Shared APN, which is ideal for small to medium-sized businesses (SMEs). Its setup cost is just LE 1,800 and monthly costs are LE 190.
