What is an Australian ETA?
An Australian ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) is equivalent to a visa, but there is no stamp or label in your passport, and there is no need for you to visit an Australian diplomatic office to submit an application. U.S. and Canadian citizens and about 25 other nationalities can take advantage of Australia’s use of technology for immigration clearances. TIP OF THE WEEK: Please remember to include photocopies of all documents submitted to CIBT for processing. This is especially important if your request must be submitted the same day it is received.
