What is an IC, OB, OG?

0

An IC is an instrument Configuration representing filter, dithering pattern and exposure time planned to be used for observing the targets of the program. An OB is an Observation Block, formed of one (and only one) target, one (or many) instrumental configurations, and one (and only one) constraint. An OG is an Observing Group which will be the unit actuallly scheduled at the telescope and executed by the QSO Team. This can be composed of a sequence of OBs or just a single OG. You will need to consult the PH2 Tutorial for more information on each of these.
