What is an Initial to Disk and when should I perform one?

This feature allows your initial backup to be created on or copied to a local hard drive and then handled from there (shipped to Enveloc.) Usually this feature is used when your initial backup is too large to send via the Internet within a reasonable timeframe. Typically, backups with selections totaling 30GB or better should use this option. The option allows you to nominate any drive, from there you can choose to ship it to us (no charge,) copy it to another drive to ship or transmit it from there. When you are presented with the options at the end of the backup, you must select one to finalize the backup, or else it must be redone.
