An Interactive Notebook allows students to keep notes from the teacher on one side of a spiral notebook and their responses and/or reactions to those notes on the other side. The benefit of this kind of notebook is that students have factual reference material from the teacher that they are able to interpret and apply at the further direction of the teacher, thus moving thinking from static to dynamic.
