What is an Upgraded pack and do I need it?

Upgraded packs under the custom pack section allows you to choose if you want your pack beefed up. This process involves end to end soldering and/or copper bar usage for intercell connections. There is an extra fee for this upgrade. Upgraded packs will allow for much higher amp draw versus the standard welded packs. Welded packs are good to about 30 amps max. After that you really should check the upgrade option box. The ugpraded packs will have much lower resistance than the welded packs which allows current to travel freely through the circuit. As AMP loads increase resistance is multiplied and becomes a very major power robing factor. Please feel free to email us if you have questions. not all packs need to be upgraded. All 2/3A packs do not need it. only high powered 4/5A, full A and SC cells would ever have high enough amp potential to need this. Thank you John C. for this question. A123, Lithium Iron, Lithium Phosphate. CBP Opinion on them. Lately many people have asked why dont
