What is Basic training like for Women in the US army?
There are lots of enlisted women in the Army, and everyone of them made it through Basic. It isn’t going to be so difficult that you can’t pass. However, the more in shape you are the easier it may be. When you go to talk to your recruiter about available job have a couple in mind that you might like to do because your first choice may not be available at that time. Bonuses can depend on your job, how long you enlist for, and even your ASVAB score. Make sure that everything you want or was guaranteed is in your contract before you sign it. If you have time to before you ship out, try to complete the Pre-Basic Training task list (military skills & knowledge and a PT test). If you complete it you can gain a rank before going to Basic.
