What is better refillable ink pins or regular pens?
Depends. A “regular” (ballpoint) pen usually has negligible drag, decent enough flow, and is fairly reliable. On top of that, it’s cheap. The downside is that most disposable pens have low quality ink, the kind that is unacceptable for any kind of drawing, and the drag will eventually add up. I use Pilot, Penguin, or Uniball disposables. Refillable ballpoints are not intended to have consistent properties like the heavily mass produced disposable, so which is better really depends on how much you are willing to spend. A cheap refillable will, as hypocrisy_central put eloquently, “be the fodder of many headaches.” To elaborate, a cheap refillable ballpoint ($1-5 range) will have all the same properties of a disposable except it will almost always break before you have a chance to use or lose it. A good refillable–I use Staedtler or cross–is worth the investment if you do a lot of writing or drawing. The really expensive ballpoints are usually nothing special in terms of functionality,
