What is biometric multiple factor authentication?
In order to qualify as multiple factor authentication there must be an additional piece of information challenged to the user in addition to their username and password. In the case of BIOWRAP, a fingerprint of the user serves as the additional piece of information. Additionally, access is granted only when a user provides the correct username, password and presents an enrolled fingerprint. Biometric multiple factor authentication offers the highest level of certainty for web-based authentication.
