What is Bridges that Unite?
Bridges that Unite is a bilingual, traveling exhibition inviting visitors to explore Canada’s role in the world through the lens of a remarkable 25-year partnership with the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). Through powerful stories and images, evocative soundscapes and multi-media components, Bridges that Unite draws on Canada’s rich experience in fostering life-changing initiatives in the developing world. The exhibition seeks to promote informed dialogue that challenges typical assumptions about the potential for social change in the developing world. The exhibition also invites Canadians to join a conversation about what we as a nation and as individuals can continue to contribute to a more pluralistic, tolerant and equitable world. Bridges that Unite is an initiative of Aga Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC).
