What is Busy Line Verify and Interrupt and how do I use it?
Busy Line Verify and Interrupt is available to WOW! Phone customers attempting to verify if a phone number is busy (in use). There is a charge to use this service. To request that a telephone number be verified, please follow the steps below: • The WOW! Phone customer must dial the operator- 0. • Upon request the operator will verify the line is busy of the number provided. • The operator will relay this information back to the requesting WOW! Phone customer. • If the WOW! Phone customer wishes to have the operator interrupt the call, the operator will interrupt the conversation announce who they are and ask if everything is OK. The outcome of the interrupt service is passed back to the requesting WOW! Phone customer. There is an additional charge for the interrupt service.
