There are two types of processes which take place in the cells for the transportation of materials in and out of the cell including; osmosis and diffusion. Cell diffusion is the process by which the molecules move from the area of high concentration to the area of low concentration. If there is high density of a specific content in the cell as compare to the area around the cell then material moves out of the cell while if the case is opposite then material moves inside the cell.
