What is Chambersburg Hospital doing to improve our performance?
Chambersburg Hospital regularly reviews important information and strategies for improving care for heart attack patients including: • Revising and standardizing forms that doctors and nurses use. • Standardizing procedures health care providers follow to assure all patients get to the Cardiac Catheterization Lab in a timely manner. Chambersburg Hospital regularly reviews important information and strategies for improving care for congestive heart failure (CHF) patients. • We have revised and standardized forms that doctors and nurses use, as well as the procedures they follow to ensure that everyone receives important instructions for care at home. • We also provide important patient education material to CHF patients. • An education packet is provided to each heart failure patient prior to discharge.
