What is Clarinex prescribed for?
Clarinex is prescribed for the treatment of symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (“hay fever”) in patients 12 years of age and older. Who should not take Clarinex? You should not take Clarinex if you are allergic to Claritin or Clarinex, or to any of the ingredients in Claritin or Clarinex. There are some things that you should tell your Doctor including: Tell your doctor if you: • have or had liver problems • have or had kidney problems • are trying to become pregnant, are already pregnant, or are breast-feeding Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
