What is ColdFusion?
ColdFusion is an Internet programming language utilizing “tag-based” syntax to develop and deploy dynamic, database driven websites quickly and with little turn-around time. ColdFusion has been around since 1992 and has become a dominant force on the Internet. To the user a website written in ColdFusion appears identical to a website written in standard HTML. It’s the behind-the-scene processing that ColdFusion performs that sets it apart from standard HTML. The ability to communicate with a database, or process user input or display an appropriate page based on a user’s action is where is shines. To learn more, visit the Macromedia ColdFusion website.
