What is Consort Immanuel?
“. We’ve tossed this question around quite a bit over the past few months and it’s a lot easier to say what Consort Immanuel is not. We are not a brass quintet. Our first performance is indeed a brass quintet concert, but Consort Immanuel is not to be limited to that instrumentation for future performances. We are not a booking agency. Although we look forward to serving the music needs of our community in a professional manner, the way we do that will be very different from what the agencies do. In fact, we remain open to the possibility of being hired through agencies. So then, what is Consort Immanuel?
