The Data-Driven Decision Making Education Connection solution represents the collaborative efforts of the D3M Alliance Members — Microsoft, Choice Solutions, ESP Solutions Group, Edustructures, and TetraData — to address multiple facets of the education process. D3M Education Connection provides a secure environment where critical applications are deeply integrated into a single, seamless user interface. The goal is to deliver to K-12 education agencies a comprehensive solution that addresses enterprise identity management, disparate systems interoperability, vertical reporting, longitudinal data management, etc. This solution is built using commercial off-the-shelf software (COTS) as well as modules developed specifically to address the unique needs of the K-12 state and local agencies such as Schools InterOperability Framework and student registration systems.
