What is DataMaxs policy on upgrade and programs improvements?
DataMax releases a new version of ClassSmart once per year, usually in the 4th quarter. The new features and improved features in each annual upgrade are directly related to the feedback received from our customers during the year. If you purchased ClassSmart less than a year ago from the release date of the new version, then the upgrade will be provided to you for just the cost of shipping and the cost of the CD itself. If a minor release of ClassSmart is needed to eliminate a bug or two in the program, you will pay only for shipping charges and the cost of the CD. In some cases, DataMax will ship a minor release to you for no charge. If your purchase was made more than one year from the current release, you can purchase the upgrade. If there is a new feature that you need immediately and do not wish to wait for the next major release, DataMax will work with your school and bill you either by the job or by the hour. Depending upon the requested feature, your cost could be as low as $7
