What is decoupling?
Decoupling is when the driven magnet and the driver magnet (installed on the shaft of the motor) become desynchronized causing the magnets to stop turning and results in the stopping of the gears from turning and the pump from operating. When this occurs disconnect the pump from its power source and re-apply the power, the pump should return to normal operation. If this condition persists or if the pump never returns to normal operation please contact one of our customer service representatives.
