A scientist is a person who studies any subject of science be it chemistry, stoichiometry, zoology, ecology, physics etc whereas a technologist is a specialist that is trained to perform in a subject of technology and technology refers to latest researches for example studying the cells of a plant is a work of scientist and introducing latest methods and techniques for this study will be done by a technologist.
