What is disconnection protection (DP)?
Disconnection protection protects players if their internet connection is lost during a game. In the event that a player is disconnected, they will be deemed as all-in for the amount they have invested into the pot, and are considered in the hand at the showdown. Disconnection protection is applicable for genuine disconnections only and is only available in ring games and not in tournaments. Any player who misuses this protection by intentionally disconnecting, may: • Forfeit any money won. • Lose disconnection protection privileges. • Face expulsion from the site. Players must accept the risk of disconnections. They can and do occur. Note: We do offer tables where the disconnection protection facility is disabled, where players have no disconnection protection at all. These tables are clearly marked in the lobby and all players may choose to play on these tables.
