What is double-counting and when is double counting allowed?
Double-counting is using one or more modules to satisfy simultaneously the requirements of a) two majors, b) a major and a minor, or c) two minors. There are certain restrictions to double-counting: major-major For cohorts before AY2007/2008: an overlap of not more than 1/3 of the smaller set of the major requirements. For cohorts of AY2007/2008 and after: an overlap of not more than 8 MCs. major-minor An overlap of not more than 8 MCs regardless of your cohort.
