What is FFE and where is it used?
In order to reduce the unlikely event of misuse, ekey biometric systems developed a software program to recognise a false finger. At the moment this technology is only used in ekey WORLDwide. However, this program lowers the convenience of ekey products due to the strict verification parameters. Based on individual requirements and the desired security level, it is therefore possible to activate or deactivate this feature. In our standard setup, the FFE is deactivated so that the system can be used by inexperienced users without problems.
