What is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain-of-Custody (CoC) certification?

0

FSC CoC certification provides information between supplier and customer, as well as to entrepreneurs, consumers and the public about where the wood or other forest-based material used in a product comes from. Products that carry the FSC CoC certificate code and FSC label are tracked from one operation to the next — from the responsibly managed forest to the consumer, including all successive stages of processing, transformation, manufacturing and distribution. Final products carrying the FSC label provide assurances to consumers and/or end-users that your products contain wood from socially and environmentally responsible forests.
