Video Transcript What Is Glass Etching? Hi everybody, I’m Lisa Quinn and today we’re going to be talking about how to etch glass. If you’re unfamiliar with what etched glass is, it’s basically a fogging technique. Lots of times is used on windows to use for privacy, you see them on hotel rooms as well, but you can use the same technique on items in your own home to achieve a really unique, creative and artistic look. You can use this process for a lot of different reasons. I find myself that it makes a great gift. If you’re going to a party and you’re bringing a bottle of wine, which is pretty typical, you can also bring a couple of wine glasses, and you can actually personalize those. There are all sorts of designs you can use. There are different ways that you can use stencils and stickers to really customize the piece to the way you want it.
